| Hello, My name is Adrian Ponnampalam and I have been coaching for over five years. As a Success Coach for business owners, investors and entreprenuers, I am creating a fulfilling life while assisting my clients achieve their goals, aspirations and dreams. My journey started when I had finished my university degree in science. I was really unhappy with that career path that seemed like something I fell into. Feeling stuck and seeing no way out, I went back to university to do a food technology degree. It seemed like a good compromise to be in an applied science field. One thing I did learn at university is the ability to research and be resourceful. I also gained a good appreication for systems and project management. I started in direct sales as way to support myself financially during this time. However, nothing could prepare me for the experience of working life. Not even all the personal development books that I had read at that time. One of the first things I did after I got a job was to buy a house, with a lot of help from my parents. Thus a life of obligation started, not just in the upkeep of the house but also to my parents. Struggling to pay the mortgage with over half my income going towards the house, every cent was counted and every decision centered on money. During this time, I was suffering a lot of stress at work, in a job that wasn't what I had thought it would be. The environment was not a supportive one either. My biggest growth came from a personal crisis, when my partner left me. We were about to have a child and soon to be married. She phoned me a month before the wedding and called it all off. She refused to see me or talk to me. I felt like my world had collapsed from under me. Through this experience, I had to negotiate with lawyers, deal government organisations and face up to a judge in court! Which success coach do you know who has been to court? The turmoil I went through was emotionally indescribable, yet very tame compared to some people's experience. It wasn't about me anymore; my child was on the way. I could not walk away from this relationship, despite the rejection. I had to confront myself, my partner and sort out this mess. This led to my first experience of being coached, through a personal development workshop I had registered for just before the break-up. While I didn't know it, I was being proactive and being very coach-able. This was the kind of education that was missing from my life, the kind that makes a difference. I realised that I wasn't living my life, rather I was living to the expectations of my environment and other people's values. With a blank canvass attitude, I went from being oblivious of who I was as an automatic reaction to being related to my reality; from being a complete victim to a person of action. I was now responsible for my actions and I made a stand for what I believed in. Three years on from that, I now enjoy an amazing relationship with my young daughter. By allowing my toddler to fully express herself as I evaluate my expectations and responsibilities, my daughter has a future of boundless possibility. She is happy and adventurous. Her mother and I have a great friendship, a workable parenting partnership and she involves me in my daughter's life. Experiencing the new found freedom, I started to participate on the playing field of life. In my quest for freedom and fulfilment, I have invested over $50,000 in educating myself, an education the institutions would not give. I devoured information in the areas of equities trading, property investing, business and marketing. As a result, I have invested in shares, traded financial instruments, participated in property trading groups and building my own coaching business. One significant piece of learning was discovering my Wealth Dynamics Profile. It was a completely new discovery of my personality that I had very little history top draw upon. This has led to fine tuning my philosophy of wealth creation and learning about other wealth personality profiles. Three years of discovering my inherent value and the value of others has enabled me to coach clients on their personality as well as coach teams. Even though I had been trained by the world's foremost personal development company for about four years, I formalised my coaching skills with a nationally, government recognised Certificate IV in Coaching for Business and Life in 2008. I did this through one of Australia 's top 100 fastest growing companies. When the company redeveloped the coach training programme, I did the course again. I have adopted a more powerful structure to my coaching as well as associating with an empowering environment of expertise and support. I have also added to my qualifications Neuro Semantic Neuro Linguistic Programming at Practitioner Level. I now coach investors and business owners to live their full potential. Part of this process is to ensure that what clients do is consistent with WHO they are and WHY they are. When WHO you are and WHY you are is aligned, what you are is powerful! Achievement is just a natural consequence; a fulfilling life is already being lived. As I always tell my clients " You can always buy time forwards but you can never buy time back" Create your dreams today!
